Cedar Valley Forest (Our 40th Year!)

Hours: Open 9am til dusk, Starting the day after Thanksgiving, then Saturdays and Sundays.
Directions: In western Johnson County, 3.7 miles west of K7 Hwy on 83rd Street.
Choose & Harvest: White pine, Scotch pine, Black Hills spruce
Pre-Harvested: Wisconsin Fraser fir
Features: With our compliments. Candy canes, hot chocolate, coffee, warm fire in our cozy cedar room. We'll lend you the saw or cut the tree for you. No charge for cleaning (tree shaker) or netting.

Evening Star Pinesnes

Hours: Weekends, 9-5 starting the day after Thanksgiving
Directions: K-10 to Evening Star Rd. Exit. Turn north and go 1/4 mile to farm.
Choose & Harvest: Scotch Pine, White Pine, White and Black Hill Spruce
Pre-Harvested: Wisconsin Fraser Firs
Features: Complimentary hot chocolate and candy canes. Fresh wreaths and arrangements, locally made jams and jellies, dog cookies, crafts, and tree stands. We shake, net, and load or tie-down tree to vehicle.

Directions: Take Shawnee Mission Parkway to Nieman Rd., then proceed North to 47th Street(County Line Rd.) go west to S. 63rd Street, then north for 3/10 of a mile

Pre-Harvested: Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir, White Pine, Scotch Pine
Features: Gift Shop, free hot chocolate, cookies and coloring books for the kids, Custom built Santa Sleigh, Train Rides, Christmas egg hunt for the kids

(Weekends: 10 am to 8 pm ; Wed. – Fri.: Noon – Dark)
Directions: 3 Miles west of Lecompton, Ks. and 3 miles east of Big Springs, Ks. on County Road 1023 (10 miles west of Lawrence or east of Topeka) (See website for additional directions to the farm.)
Choose & Harvest: Hand -Pruned Scotch Pines (East Anglia, French Blue and Belgian)
Pre-Harvested: Freshly Pre-Cut Firs (Fraser, Balsam and others)
Features: At Green Forest Christmas Tree Farm, you can take a wagon ride through our beautiful, manicured fields and select your own tree from thousands of beautiful Scotch Pines. Hayrides, Gifts for kids, unique holiday gift shop, fresh wreaths, crafts, tree stands, refreshments. We provide saws (or complimentary cutting). We shake, net (optional) and load and tie-down to your vehicle.

Hours: Open 9AM Friday, Nov. 23rd and 9AM to 5PM Saturday and Sundays. We are not open during weekdays. Closed for the season on Dec. 22nd.
Directions: Just 20 minutes from I-35 & I-435. 10 minutes from Bonner Springs. We are in the rolling hills of southern Leavenworth county.
Choose & Harvest: Thousands to choose from in all sizes including up to 14 foot tall! White Pines, Scotch and Austrian Pines. We provide the saws, shake the tree, put it in netting and help load it onto your vehicle. Need more help? We'll even cut it for you!
Pre-Harvested: Fraser Firs
Features: Our cozy lodge has a natural stone fireplace and a blazing fire to warm you and your family. Hot chocolate, coffee and cookies are FREE for your enjoyment. Weather permitting, our tiny tot train will make its rounds.
